Freya Freeman-Taylor

Freya Freeman-Taylor is a painter and printmaker whose work explores our collective alienation from nature, through surreal scenes of industrialisation and organic complexity. Drawing inspiration from her experiences in environmental activism spaces, Freya's work intends to bring the audience into their own "grief-shadowed awakening" of the state of the natural world, in the hopes to inspire action and reflection.

Freya's final exhibition was titled: "Why did you leave me to die?", a line drawn from Tom Hiron's Poem "Sometimes a Wild god", representing her thematic starting point for the course.
