Macy Rogers

I'm Macy, a multimedia designer completing a master's degree at UWE Bristol. I work primarily across graphic design and animation, using Adobe and Blender to build visually compelling, creative work. I'm drawn to polarising subjects I feel genuinely invested in, treating design as a tool for activism and real-world change.
I also bring over a year of industry experience in marketing and digital content creation, with a strong eye for design, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for innovative visual solutions.

My recent project, Something to Chew On, asks how design can educate on the impact of industrial animal farming. Rather than a typical veganism campaign built on moral messaging and explicit imagery, I wanted to expose an industry driven by profit over honest regard for health and the environment. I created a supermarket-style installation and advert, borrowing its own visual language to reveal what it's designed to hide.

My Inventory of Music

A data visualisation project exploring how audiences access and interpret information. I designed an A1 poster analysing lyrics from personally significant songs, scaling words by frequency and colouring them by emotion. It reimagines music as a personal, visual data record.

Avail

A surreal motion piece for the "Trajectory" brief (Nov 2025). Perceived failure becomes growth—opening new doors and paths. Dynamic typography shifts meaning as it unfolds. Modelled/animated in Blender, edited in Premiere Pro, with 8-bit treatments in After Effects.

'Happy Farms!' is an animation from my final degree piece, shown alongside a mock-supermarket installation. As industrial farming expands, causing deforestation and health risks, supermarkets use reassuring imagery to conceal these realities. This project subverts that language to expose it.
