Charlie Mack

Before coming to Bristol, Charlie spent the last three years in the African bush, mainly in Kenya’s Maasai Mara working as a safari guide and photographer. The lodge had no fences so he was surrounded by wildlife 24/7- highlights include close encounters with hippos, leopards and black mambas all metres from his tent. And all that was before you actually entered the Mara! Charlie had wanted to be a safari guide in Africa since he was 10 years old and whilst actually doing it found his two favourite parts to be 1) filming the animals and 2) the storytelling aspect of guiding. Now, instead of telling his stories to a few people sat in a safari truck, he would love to tell them to a (hopefully) bigger audience through film. He wants to work as a camera operator but also to keep travelling, exploring and making his own films

Dawn in the Mara

The sunrises in the Mara mornings are usually amazing- this one was particularly spectacular with the giant orange sun and misty swamp.
