Hello, my name is Humberto Espirito Santo. I am a postgraduate student in Graphic Arts who views design not merely as a technical skill, but as a language of expression, connection, and storytelling. For me, creativity functions as a voice, particularly in moments when words are difficult to express. Through design, I seek to evoke emotion, inspire reflection, and foster meaningful connections between people and ideas.

My practice encompasses typography, motion design, branding, and video, where I combine technical expertise with personal narrative to create work that is both impactful and memorable. Curiosity encourages me to explore new perspectives, resilience guides me in navigating challenges, and passion sustains my commitment to creating designs that resonate deeply. I regard each project as more than a visual task; it is an opportunity to communicate a story that matters, one that can leave a lasting impression and spark dialogue beyond the image itself.

Because I Stammer is a poster that reflects my personal journey. It captures moments when, during phone conversations, people dismiss my voice, saying the line was unclear. This work is my response—a request for patience and understanding, and a reminder

Because I Stammer is a poster that reflects my personal journey. It portrays moments when, during phone calls, my voice is dismissed as unclear because of my stammer.

Abuse is a poster that reflects my personal journey. It recalls moments from my childhood when my parents would send me to the shop to buy items for the kitchen. I was often bullied by shop owners. For example, when I asked for coconut water, I stammered—‘Co…co…co…’—and the shopkeeper would finish my words for me, saying ‘Coca-Cola.’ This work highlights the small but painful experiences of misunderstanding and mockery that shaped my early life.

Abuse is a poster that reflects my personal journey. It recalls childhood moments when my parents sent me to the shop for kitchen items, where I was often bullied by the shop owners.

"I feel anxious when speeking"

I live with social anxiety, which makes it difficult to speak or express myself when meeting new people. I created this poster to share my experiences and raise awareness about the challenges of living with social anxiety.

In this video, I recreate the iconic speech from The King’s Speech, using the exact words spoken by King George VI. I deeply connect with his struggle with public speaking.
