Post Punk Practices

A graphic designer and a journalist walk into a bar...

This collaborative project is a series of articles, with accompanying designs that reflect the content, on the subject of post-punk music. Sofia's slightly tongue-in-cheek journalism paired with Minty's graphic design expertise produced a combined physical embodiment of the artists that we love within this burgeoning genre. Looking at the themes of class, spoken word and Radio 6, this project brings with it tote bags, magazines and t-shirts to boot. Musicians such as Yard Act and Dry Cleaning get a look-in as we delve into the reasons why post-punk has taken such sway among dads and indie kids alike. Fundamentally, this Risograph publication is something that strongly reflects our own identities and passions.
