Shroom Omelette

Based on a true story, this 8-minute comedic short film follows Laurie, 75, as he meets his son's new boyfriend for the first time over a family dinner. But unbeknownst to him, that same morning whilst foraging for mushrooms for his omelette he accidentally consumed psychedelic 'shrooms. As the effects start to kick in, dinner descends into chaos as his wife Winnie and son try to keep things on track.

This short is in the midst of its festival circuit, with three sections including a BIFA-qualifying festival. It won two craft awards for its production design and camera work at the RTS West of England Awards.
