Ain’t No Party, and Whiplash

Ain’t No Party is an intimate portrayal of the relationship of two sisters. On the morning of a wedding, the bride has doubts about her relationship as she gets ready in her bedroom. Her sister thinks that breathing exercises and crystals can help heal the breakdown in communication between the bride and groom, but the bride is not convinced.

Whiplash offers the audience a close-up, fly on the wall view of students on the morning after the night before. In the shared flat, there’s suspicion about what’s happened to the friend who isn’t there this morning. News spreads quickly on social media and the friends are forced to confront what really happened last night and whether they were responsible for the tragic turn of events.
