An event at Shredenhams in Bristol on April 1st brought together participants of the 2025 Hong Kong Exchange, organised by Marco Ugolini and Marta Celio.
Part of the SHAPE UWE–HKDI Culture and Knowledge Exchange, the programme connects UWE Bristol and the Hong Kong Design Institute through cross-cultural collaboration and shared learning. Running from 6–9PM, the evening offered a chance to reconnect and reflect. The space was filled with conversation and a strong sense of nostalgia, as many met again for the first time since returning.
At the centre was HK25, a curated booklet of images and reflections from the exchange. Both keepsake and archive, it prompted moments of recognition as guests revisited familiar faces and experiences.
The event also introduced plans for the 2026 edition, inviting new participants to get involved.
