Hereafter, and Four Voices
Hereafter imagines a future where Earth has become uninhabitable, and life is forced to continue in a space station situated on a distant planet. A skeleton crew of three have to make important decisions about their own lives as well as that of the existence of the human race. More poor theatre than science fiction, Hereafter asks important questions about duty, personal choice and the consequences of our actions.
Four Voices invites its audience to question their own attitudes to recent shifts in the areas of gender identity and sexuality. Whilst acknowledging the privilege of being able to have open discussions surrounding gender identity and the LGBTQ+ community, the performance aims to highlight the daily struggles that the community faces. Four Voices aims to be as inclusive of different views and identities.
Content warning: contains the use of a fog machine, flashing lights and loud music. Themes include the threat of violence, sexual assault, death, and abuse related to gender identity and sexuality. Some audience members will be seated on stage, close to the action, and may be asked to interact with performers.
