Your Profile

Introduction

Welcome to the Showcase website help page. Here you will find information, tips and guidance on completing your student profile. Click the links in the navigation side bar to be taken to the section you need.

About You

The Showcase site is designed to share a full spectrum of creative practice – your work as an individual and as a collaborative practitioner.

There are two ways to share your projects – individual and collaborative. This approach allows you to share your individual practice as well as your individual contributions to larger team-based work (e.g. films, productions, performances, exhibitions, cooperatives, group publications).

Your projects may include course-related work as well as independent practice. This is your space to curate.

Your Name

Enter your name as you’d like it to appear as a heading.

Personal Statement

You may approach this as an artist statement, bio, or personal manifesto. Use this space to share your motivations, intentions, significant achievements (eg awards, fellowships) and aspirations as a creative practitioner – in 150 words or less.

For tips on writing your bio / personal statement go here https://go.uwe.ac.uk/showcase2020padlet
