Julia Henauer
I am an Illustrator & Motion Graphics Designer based in Somerset. I have substantial experience in creating high quality illustration for physical merchandise, products, advertising materials and books. As well as creating visual effects and dynamic motion graphics for television and online media.
During the BA course I developed a passion for character design and illustration aimed at children. In my final year, I had the opportunity to illustrate my very first children’s book called “Taffy and the Tapir Party” which will be published later this year.

Taffy is on her way to the ferry that will bring her to the annual tapir party, but on her way she meets friends that all need her help. Will she still make it to the ferry in time?
The Last Straw - Character Design, Art Direction & Visual effects
The Last Straw is a stop-motion film directed by Cleo Parker. I have worked on the film as the character designer and art director. I also created the visual effects in post-production.

The Big Top is a stop-motion group film that was created in 2nd year. I was responsible for the character designer, art direction and visual effects.
