Based in Somerset, I create installations and sculptures using textile materials and craft techniques. This was combined with woodwork, metalwork and mechanisms to create a moving sculpture for my graduate installation ‘Breathwork’. My work utilises a wide range of mediums and techniques but has a connection to my interest in the psyche, using art as a tool for mental health and well-being as well as building connections through collaboration. My practice is concerned with tactility and has underlying themes exploring environmental issues, craft as a gendered practice, as well as mental health and wellbeing.
