Luigi Musa-Baldo

Getting up on a stage, being in front of a camera, or making people laugh is what I love to do. It's what makes me happy and I always want to keep pushing myself to be better and better. Third year at university was really my year of discovery, from performing in my first ever Shakespeare play, doing my first ever stand-up, being in a variety of different shows, even making an original film managed to be part of my third year experience.

I think acting really is my way of expressing myself like nothing else. When people watch my work I want them to feel immersed and left wanting more. This is what I want to do in life and having just recently finished my Drama and Acting course, I look forward to seeing what the next chapter holds.

'The Dragon and the Fly'

This film I made with my brilliant partner Liz was for our Acting for Screen module. It's a film about a domestic abuse couple, one is returning and one is leaving, and it really was an experience trying something new.

'Much Ado about Nothing'

My first time playing a lead role was in March 2023, and I played the role of Benedick in Shakespeare's 'Much Ado about Nothing'. Such an amazing cast and an amazing experience to be in a Shakespeare production at University.

'How Do You Know My Name?' by Alex Nicklin

This a short film I acted in that was made by my friend Alex who studies Film. It focuses on Joel doing his job on the night shift, when he starts receiving a series of distressing phone calls.

'As We Know It'

'As We Know It' is a contemporary play created by Paige Farnham that I was a part of. It's about three friends realizing it's the end of the world so they call their dealer who cannot handle it's the end.
