Fatima Aqleema

Fatima Aqleema, a versatile graphic designer with a multicultural background spanning Pakistan, the UAE, and the UK. In recent years, I've channeled my passion into design and motion graphics.

My latest project is all about crafting a playful planner. This project epitomizes my dedication to merging practicality with innovative design. Through seven distinct iterations, I've explored diverse design approaches, from traditional layouts to abstract shapes and unconventional formats, pushing the boundaries of what a planner can be.

Crafting a planner is not just a creative exercise; it's a voyage of discovery, a litmus test for one's creativity. It demands a delicate balance between practical considerations and imaginative thinking, resulting in a product that is not only visually captivating but also incredibly functional and user-friendly.

In the Urdu version of the planner, using Urdu language and numerals for month and dates can be a subtle touch that aligns the planner with Pakistani culture.

Planner 3

Integrating cultural elements into the design serves a dual purpose. It roots the planner in the rich tapestry of Pakistani culture, making it a piece of art, and ensures that the user feels a deep connection to their heritage.

Planner 4

Drawing from the vibrant colors prominent in Pakistani textiles, bazaars, and festivals, the palette can be a mix of deep reds, royal blues, bright yellows, and emerald greens. Such colors represent the nation's vividness, add energy and vibrancy to planner.
