Trailer - Fight Like a Tyson
A 13-year-old girl from Liverpool is making her mark in the MMA world. She battles Tourettes, Autism and might leave the school system. Will she beat the best in America to become a world champion?
When I was 14, a trip to India fuelled my passion for film. Capturing the vibrant culture and witnessing extreme poverty shaped my interest in telling stories of struggle and strength. Filmmaking became my way to explore the human experience and encourage compassion and connection. After completing my BA in Media and Film Production in 2015, I freelanced for seven years, working for various commercial clients and creating impact films for NGOs and charities. I developed my skills and work ethic becoming a confident self-shooting director and editor. After completing my MA in Documentary Filmmaking with Distinction, I landed a job as a Researcher for Longtail Films, who produce broadcast documentaries on subjects such as modern-day slavery, gang violence, and abuse. My goal is to become an established self-shooting PD who creates top-quality documentaries with high emotional intelligence, creativity, and integrity.
