Peace Process (2024) - Head Researcher
After witnessing horrific atrocities, a journalist testifies to an international court in the hope it will bring peace to the warring state of Aceh.
I am a filmmaker based in Bristol/Hampshire, specialising in producing during my degree. My focus is on pre-production and story development.
In my graduate film "Peace Process," I served as head researcher, managing an international research team that investigated historical events and people in Aceh and wider Indonesia. This research then was used by the script writers who referenced our findings in the film.
My project specialisations revolve around child contributors and actors. For the documentary "Wild Vision, Wild Lives," which is centered around a forest school for visually impaired children, I researched the risks and wrote risk assessment countermeasures to ensure everyone's safety.
In "Forgotten," I studied child actor labour laws and worked closely with the crew to adhere to licensed times. Subsequently, I delved into child actor contracts and worked as a child actor adviser for the film "Burden," which featured a child under the age of 5.
