Benjamin Evenett

Benjamin's work is a primal and passionate interrogation of humans, their relationship in the more-than-human world and role in the climate crisis. The work is a process led working out; collaborating with material to metamorphise into new forms. Forms which, interwoven with masses of energy, earthly phenomena and primordial gods, often creating symbiotic ecosystems. His research investigates ancient cultures, animism, British Romanticism, deep time, queer identity and kinship. By leaning into informed instinct he plays with the idea of rehumaning - being less human, to become more human.
