My name is Janaè Dobson, and I’m an interior designer passionate about turning space into story. I enjoy creating work that confronts things people often overlook projects that go beyond visual aesthetics and ask people to feel, reflect, and engage.
My designs explore everything from cultural memory and migration (The Gathering Yard), to neurodivergent sensory experiences (Unveil), to wellbeing in the workplace (Serene). Whether I’m creating immersive installations or residential concepts, my strength lies in combining narrative with spatial thinking, merging research, emotion, and material exploration into meaningful environments.
I’m drawn to experience design, inclusive spaces, and storytelling through interiors. I also have a growing interest in residential design and hope to one day pursue home renovation and flipping.My work is a desire to make people pause, participate, and connect to leave a lasting impact not just through what they see, but what they feel.
