Jodi Huggett
Photography 2025
I am a London-based photographer with a focus on storytelling, through portraiture and documentary-style imagery. My work explores themes of quietness, intimacy, and familiarity, often drawing from personal narratives, contemporary issues, and everyday life.
Skilled in both digital and analogue photography, I have a strong foundation in lighting, studio practices, and bookbinding. I have a particular passion for hands-on post-production, and I enjoy bringing my projects to life through carefully crafted prints and handmade photo books.
Through my studies, I’ve also gained experience teaching photography—working with primary school children in both the darkroom and studio, offering a range of creative activities designed to help them explore and develop new visual skill sets.

This is my mother. One of the most persistent symptoms she’s faced during menopause has been intense hot flushes. Over the past few years, she has devoted countless hours to understanding and finding ways to manage them.
No More Vases
She was her own furnace, she never needed heating or a fireplace—instead, the house was filled with fans of every shape and size, scattered in every room like quiet companions.

This is my mother. After a routine three-yearly mammogram led to a biopsy, she sat in the stillness of waiting, to then learn she had stage one breast cancer.
