Bella Manning

I am a Fashion Communication graduate based in Bristol whose practice focuses on creative direction, styling, image making, and upcycled garments. Inspired by festival and rave culture, my work embraces bold, playful aesthetics through maximalist styling and expressive imagery that celebrates individuality and freedom of self expression.

Fashion for me is about dressing for yourself rather than for others, using clothing and imagery to communicate confidence and personality. I aim to create uplifting, empowering spaces where people feel comfortable being unapologetically themselves, both in front of and behind the camera. I believe the energy of the process is just as important as the final outcome.

Rooted in slow fashion and sustainability, I incorporate handmade upcycled garments into my work, challenging fast fashion and overconsumption. My graduate project was a campaign celebrating fearless self expression and the idea that being “too much” is never a bad thing.

Through The Thorns

A 360 campaign inspired by Dilara Findikoglu’s SS26 collection, exploring womanhood through innocence, struggle, and strength. Using thorn symbolism, dark romantic styling, and powerful femininity, the visuals balance vulnerability with resilience.

Advertorial for Polyester magazine

Inspired by the escapism of festivals, this Polyester Magazine advertorial creates a playful world of layered fabrics, upcycled garments, and collected trinkets. Capturing the creativity and freedom found in those fields.

Amelie In Fairyland

Marketing Imagery for Amelie in Fairyland captures the brand’s whimsical, fairy inspired identity through soft styling, dreamy lighting, flowers, and natural settings. Creating a world that reflects the delicacy and fantasy behind the handmade crochet pieces.

Bella Made It

That Girl is a campaign for Bella Made It, inspired by festival fashion. Through bold maximalist styling, the project celebrates individuality, confidence and self expression, challenging the idea that expressive fashion belongs only in certain spaces or occasions.
