Maisie Hitchcock Taff-Mensah
Fashion Communication 2026
I’m Maisie Hitchcock Taff-Mensah and graduating from UWE Fashion Communications. Specialising in photography, editing, art direction and image making, I aim to produce concept-driven and culturally relevant imagery. My work is influenced by London’s diverse creative environments, as well as my creative peers. My work explores identity, aesthetics, storytelling and subcultures through fashion imagery, using research and experimentation to develop editorial narratives.
Drawing inspiration from other creatives, and experimenting with environments, people and mixed-media influences, my images focus on artistic expression and collaborative process. With each of the three artists customizing a garment with spray paint, I documented both the development of the garments to the final stylized shoots. Interested in creating authentic and expressive imagery, how I looked at the relationship between mixed-media art with fashion was important. Documenting them in their own creative spaces before placing their work in a studio/fashion context.
