Daisy Hvnter is a multidisciplinary artist working across sensory installation, sculpture, zines and public art. Their practice centres on “making space”: using vivid colour, lo-fi processes and domestic materials to explore accessible entry points into dreaming, comfort and escapism. Daisy creates worlds that feel soft, strange and welcoming, inviting ambiguity, curiosity and different ways of connecting.
Their work transforms familiar and found objects into unexpected spaces and artefacts, creating the feeling of “the world, but wonky.” Humour runs through Daisy’s practice, softening the strange and making room for play, rest and sensory experience.
Informed by lived experience of disability and neurodiversity, alongside professional experience in accessibility within the creative sector, Daisy allows access and disabled experience to sit within the work without becoming its sole subject. Their work values softness, sensory knowledge and imagination as legitimate and meaningful ways of navigating, adapting to and reimagining the world.
