Abi Thurlby

I'm an Interior Design student with a strong interest in creating spaces that prioritise people’s needs, experiences, and wellbeing. I believe successful design goes beyond aesthetics, focusing on how individuals interact with and feel within a space. Throughout my studies, I have developed skills in spatial planning, concept development, and visual communication, allowing me to create thoughtful and user-centred design solutions.
My interests span a variety of sectors, including residential, retail, and event design. I enjoy exploring how different environments can influence behaviour, engagement, and experience. I am particularly interested in designing spaces that are both functional and meaningful, responding to the unique needs of their users.
As I begin my professional journey, I am excited to explore the diverse opportunities within the design industry. I am eager to gain industry experience, contribute to live projects, and continue developing my skills while learning from experienced designers and varied creative

environments.
