MA Fine Art: Printmaking 2026
‘Before we understand the world, we inherit it.’ This idea sits at the heart of my practice.
I am a South African-born visual artist based in Wiltshire, UK, currently completing an MA Fine Art: Printmaking at UWE Bristol.
Working across printmaking, photography, collage and installation, I explore how identity is shaped through memory, inherited histories and lived experience. Drawing on personal archives, archival imagery and my own photography, I construct layered visual narratives that invite multiple interpretations, active participation and engagement rather than fixed conclusions.
My current body of work, The Box Child, explores the box as a metaphor for the inner world we each carry—shaped by memory, lived experience and inherited stories. I aim to continue exhibiting, developing ambitious installation-based work, continuing to expand the possibilities of printmaking through installation and interdisciplinary practice, and building a sustainable career through galleries, residencies and collaborative projects.
