Ten Thousand Ways of Water
Ten Thousand Ways of Water is a photography sculpture project that brings together photography and digital painting to explore water as a perceptual and imaginative medium.
Jianuan Xu is a photographer based in Bristol, UK. Her practice is rooted in personal experience, exploring the relationship between place, emotion, and perception. She is interested in how photography can move beyond representation to engage with materiality and embodied experience. Blending observation with introspection, she approaches photography as both a method of storytelling and a way of understanding the self.
