As a wildlife filmmaker and conservation researcher, I’m drawn to storytelling that challenges our thinking and brings unheard voices to the forefront of natural history.
Most recently, with the help of National Geographic, I produced and self-shot Ensnared - a short documentary that follows a group of ex-poachers I met and befriended over four years of field seasons spent in Uganda.
I am driven by impact, and so alongside the film, I am launching an international campaign with screenings planned in the US, UK and Uganda. I’ve also been enjoying experimenting with short-form and digital content to further drive change, and hope to
gain more experience in this area.
My MA film follows a hairdresser and farmer’s wife who has become the unlikely caretaker of a herd of wild horses, but must fight to hold on to the bond she has built with them as life invevitably gets in
