Lali Rhydderch

Lali Rhydderch is a young wildlife filmmaker. Her knowledge of British wildlife, animal behaviour and human-animal conflicts is informed by her BSc Biology and MPhil Polar Studies. She specialised in Arctic ecosystems during her MPhil and is especially interested in the relationship between indigenous peoples, herbivores and vegetation in the Arctic tundra.

Lali enjoys storytelling through a variety of mediums and has honed her skills through everything from sketch comedy to short films and theatre productions. She has also worked in the locations department of a range of HETV and feature film dramas.

Lali aspires to work in editorial, telling stories about the natural world by borrowing from different genres to surprise the audience. Her upcoming film, a comedic presenter-led road trip exploring Scotland's urban wildlife, will be screened at the Arnolfini in October.
