Ollie Cawley

Ollie is a freelance filmmaker combining a background in Zoology with a master’s degree in Wildlife Filmmaking to create impactful films focused on scientific communication and the natural world. He works alongside conservation organisations to tell stories that raise awareness of the people and places working to protect our planet. Having grown up on the island of Jersey, Ollie has a particular connection to the ocean and a strong desire to protect it. He feels most at home filming underwater, but as a qualified drone pilot, he is equally comfortable filming from the air. With a particular passion for the ocean, he uses film to explore the relationship between people, science and the natural world. He hopes to create films that not only reveal the hidden wonders of the natural world but encourage audiences to care about protecting it.
