A Still From Birth Injuries
A 3-min doc I directed exploring birth related trauma, through an interview with a mother and supported by archive materials.
Throughout my time at UWE, I have specialised in Producing/Production Management, with a specific interest in creative producing for documentary.
In 2023 I produced Wicked and Bad a documentary following a Kill the Bill protestor awaiting a prison sentence, which went to 6 different festivals, won the student award at Encounters and was nominated for an RTS student award. This year I have started directing as well as begun to develop editing skills and I hope to do more of this after graduating.
Overall, I have spent my time building up my skills in research and development and I hope to continue this learning after uni with aspirations of creating independent documentaries about social issues and promoting change. I love films which explore communities and people living outside of the cultural norm, but still comment on the wider society.
