In today’s fast-moving, image-saturated world, the depth and richness of many cultural traditions often get lost or oversimplified. As an Iranian designer, I have grown up surrounded by a visual language that is deeply symbolic, poetic, and grounded in centuries of history. I also live in a contemporary design world where global aesthetics often dominate, and local identities are flattened or misunderstood. This contrast has been a source of personal tension, but also creative energy. This project is a response to that tension. Through environmental graphic design particularly interpretive signage I have sought to bridge traditional Iranian visual heritage with modern design communication. My focus has been on motifs, patterns, and symbolic forms derived from Iranian art and architecture. These are not static ornaments but living symbols echoes that still resonate with universal human themes: Borderless Patterns, Flow of Empathy, Peace, connection.
