Rising Beyond Chains: The Spirit of African Resilience and Self-Actualization Through the Transatlantic Struggle.

Inspired by the self-made expressions “strength from within” and “bringing the past to life,” these compositions are meant to create a peaceful atmosphere between the two parties involved in the mentioned Transatlantic Slave Trade, which happened between the Africans (Ghanaians) and the British.

While exploring tragic moments and historic activities may stir negative emotions, my primary aim is to highlight the positive outcomes this article can bring. I urge my audience and the readers of this article to see the potential for growth and understanding rather than dwelling on the racial tensions this project might evoke.

Just as the heroic female figure Yaa Ashantiwaa looked within herself, tapped into her inner power, and got energised to inspire hopeless men to make a stand, so can my audience look into themselves by meditating, practising self-therapeutic sessions, nurturing their inner strength to navigate challenges, and overcome life’s obstacles to maintain a sense of mental well-being and productivity.
