I joined UWE 3 years ago with not much of a clue of what I wanted to do in the future but I did know that I wanted to work on films! so I joined the filmmaking course. Over the 3 years of me being on this course I learnt so much and took away a lot of valuable lessons, such as don’t sit on your hard drive and back up all your footage! but anyways this course really helped me to discover what I wanted to specialize in within in film and it gave me the confidence to start my own videography business which I started in 2nd year filming all sorts of things from raves to food promos to vlogs and even football games. All of which also taught me some really good lessons and advice. If your thinking of coming here its definitely worth it as if you have a passion for freelancing the city is perfect for it and the course really helps to show you how you can start your journey. Finally forgot to say but doing this course also really helped me to rekindle my production design and animation passion as most of the films I worked on involved these 2 things and they were heavily production design based meaning everyone gotta help which was an awesome experience!!! :3
