The Elusive Modernist – Gabriel Guevrekian

On Wednesday, February 15th 2023, Hamed Khosravi, together with UWE graphic design lecturer Marco Ugolini, launched the book “The Elusive Modernist – Gabriel Guevrekian” – at the Architecture Association in London. The Elusive Modernist is the biography of 1920’s Armenian modernist architect Gabriel Guevrekian, who accompanies the reader through the history and the modernist movement by investigating architectural projects, essays and found archive material. The research that took the author several years to complete was designed by Marco Ugolini (objectif.co.uk) into a collectable publication whose layout, typography and materials were inspired by history and identity.
