Alexa Palmer-Wilcock

A fashion textiles graduate. I design and make garments incorporating hand sewn embellishments and embroidery. I design complex textile prints using techniques such as sublimation, flocking, foiling and laser cutting amongst others. A levels - Fine Art (A), Graphic Design (A) Photography (A)

Experienced in Adobe Software (Photoshop, indesign and illustrator), Procreate, CAD drawings,

Knowledge in spec packs, digital prints, innovative pattern cutting, intricate sewing, screen-printing, knitting and embroidery. I have also worked with creating plaster moulds for latex, crochet and digital embroidery.

I am inspired by the natural world and world cultures. I was born and grew up firstly in Kingston upon Thames, later moving to Cheltenham. My large creative family comes from and lives all over the world, providing a wealth of stories and inspiration for my work.

I can manage large workloads and meet important deadlines, as well as working in a team.
