Virtual & Extended Realities (MA)

One of the first of its kind, MA Virtual and Extended Realities is an industry-led course exploring the politics, business, art and culture of immersive technologies. Students connect with internationally significant research, and learn practical skills to develop their craft as pioneering storytellers in virtual, augmented and extended realities.

We are primarily based in a brand new immersive lab on Bristol’s historic harbourside. However, much of the work in this showcase has been developed during the coronavirus pandemic, by students connecting with the masters course and with one another via myriad remote technologies - finding creative inspiration in

home, online and in the metaverse.
