Randoseru Zine
This describes a Japanese elementary school memory. We always use a special backpack " randoseru", when they see this backpack, they recall a strong nostalgic feeling. I wanted to tell the story using Randoseru shape for the zine.
I am keen on creating narrative illustrations, such as picture books and zines. Also love making physical print. When making the image, I always try to capture the "SPACE" in my illustration. The idea originated from folklore and my childhood memories, and I enjoy drawing people and nature, as well as composing vibrant colour palettes.
