agroforestry in Wells
My work explores the quiet relationships between people, place, and the natural world. Rooted in personal experience, my practice often begins with introspection as I use the camera to navigate memory, belonging, and identity. I’m drawn to overlooked environments and everyday moments, finding significance in the subtle and the slow. Through long-form, collaborative projects grounded in observation and trust, I examine how land shapes human lives and, in turn, how people leave traces on the spaces they inhabit. Past work has explored themes ranging from chronic illness and care to conservation and rural labour. I aim to create work that is both emotionally resonant and socially aware, often blurring the line between documentary and personal narrative. Looking ahead, I’m eager to build on this approach by deepening my engagement with communities and continuing to push the boundaries of storytelling through photography, writing, and exhibition.
