Dark Corridor
Plant-based acrylic painting for Shelter graphic novel, chapter one. The torch beam cut a path through the dark corridor. Sickly yellow walls emerged, damp bloomed unevenly, staining the plaster grey and brown.
Hello! I am an illustrator and concept artist specialising in narrative illustration and worldbuilding. My practice focuses on creating conceptual, narrative-led imagery that explores real and imagined worlds, often through science fiction, fantasy, and ecological themes. With a strong interest in sustainability and environmental storytelling, I have developed an environmentally conscious practice that considers both the stories I tell and the materials I use, including plant-based and environmentally conscious art materials.
My background in storyboarding, game art, 3D modelling, and animation informs my approach to visual storytelling, enabling me to build immersive settings and characters with a strong sense of atmosphere and narrative purpose. Through my work, I aim to design and create illustrated books that encourage curiosity, reflection, and an emotional connection with the natural world.
