Each year UWE and Spike Island award prestigious Graduate Fellowships to outstanding students graduating from a UWE arts degree. Each Graduate Fellow receives access to a shared studio at Spike Island for a year – giving them space, funds and support to develop their professional practices within Bristol’s vibrant artistic community.
As part of their longstanding partnership, UWE and Spike Island also award bursaries covering membership to the Spike Island Associates Network to talented graduates of UWE BA and MA creative courses. These year-long bursaries support new graduates to continue to engage with the Bristol art scene and access a shared workspace, events and critical support.
