Hello! I am a graphic designer and photographer from Karachi, Pakistan. My projects have a deep personal connection, reflecting my passion for sharing my culture through food, art, and language. I played a versatile role as an artist, combining my skills in storytelling, graphic design, photography, food styling, and art direction in my final MA Graphic Arts project. I explored the medium of editorial design, particularly zines, to depict my culinary journey from Karachi to Bristol and showcase the rich culinary traditions of my country, Pakistan. I experimented with creative folding formats for my recipe card books, and my project features vibrant photography that captures the essence of Pakistan through traditional themes. I enjoy incorporating decorative elements and vibrant colours to infuse excitement into my work. My career aspirations involve working in the fields of brand design, food styling, and photography.
