Kieran Barker

Hi! I'm Kieran Barker, a student of product design technology at UWE Bristol. I have 8 years+ of experience with CAD and design software, and love to hone my skills and push the boundaries of design. In recent projects i have used generative design to help create advanced designs based on physical prinicpals such as forces and stresses.

Another key aspect of my designs is my eye for sustainability and modern thinking. With urban spaces becoming ever smaller and harder to come by, my most recent project "PlantTable" saw a fusion of urban gardening and space-saving furniture. This project was very broad and ranged all the way from detail design and manufacturing to lifecycle assesments and arduino. My end goal was to produce a full scale working prototype, which pushed my skills in the workshop as well as the studio.
